Careers / Data Engineer
We build ELT pipelines connecting EHR systems, agricultural IoT sensors, and industrial historians into reliable data foundations. Every pipeline ships to production and is handed over to a client team that depends on it.
Build ELT pipelines connecting EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), agricultural IoT sensors, and industrial historians (OSIsoft PI) to cloud data warehouses.
Design and maintain BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift warehouses that serve operational reporting and AI workflows for healthcare and agriculture clients.
Work directly with hospital IT teams, farm operations managers, and manufacturing engineers to understand data requirements and translate them into pipeline design.
Monitor pipeline reliability, set up alerting, and write handover documentation your clients can actually maintain after the engagement ends.
Collaborate with our cloud engineering team on infrastructure and with the web team to connect operational dashboards to live data.
3+ years of experience in data engineering, ideally with structured healthcare, agricultural, or industrial data.
Strong SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses — BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
Python for data transformations; experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
Familiarity with HIPAA data handling requirements and the compliance constraints on healthcare data is a strong plus.
Able to work directly with non-technical operations teams — you explain what you are building, not just build it.
Every project ends with a running system in production. No indefinite pilots or proof-of-concept work.
Direct client contact from the first week — hospital IT teams, farm operations managers, and manufacturing engineers.
Remote-first distributed team across India, USA, and New Zealand. We work asynchronously by default.
Cloud certification budget and support for domain-specific learning — healthcare data standards, agricultural IoT, industrial historians.
90-day post-handover engagement on every project. You see how the work holds up in real operations and stay involved if something needs tuning.
